However, with slightly more aggressive or useful abilities, we are taking a step in the right direction in terms of team support and pushing capabilities. One step up in our Apex Legends tier list and we have the characters that, much like D Tier, offer their own form of usefulness, but might not always be the ones to save the day.

However, much like Rampart, attacks out in the open tend to leave Wattson near defenceless. Wattson is the far more adaptable of the two defensive legends in this tier. Then when you are holed in the Interception Pylon acts as a trophy system, whilst also boosting Wattson's tactical recharge and repairing damaged shields. Not only does it damage enemies that walk through it but it also stuns them, slowing movement and leaving them temporarily unable to attack. Similar to Rampart, a Wattson fence can be catastrophic to an attacking team. Joining in Season Two, this defensive specialist employs electrical fences to cover entrances from attacking players. Wattson often feels like one of the most forgotten legends - although really that should go to Crypto. The update that allows Rampart to carry her Sheila does alleviate this issue somewhat, but at the end of the day, her defensive abilities are more something to sidestep than be fearful of. However, so much of Apex Legends is about the variety of gameplay, which often leaves skirmishes moving from corridor to rooftop to open fields. And let's be clear, if you get an effective Rampart, with their Amped Cover, and "Sheila" minigun, she can be an admirable foe.
Rampart is another legend that isn't focused on pushing the enemy, but instead on holding down the fort.
